Have you ever felt like you didn’t belong? I know I’m not alone, when I say I have… it’s not a fun experience, that’s for sure. But it does happen. Especially when we’ve already got doubts swirling around in our heads to begin with…
Getting to sit down and chat with Lauren Hooker of Elle & Company about this extremely important topic meant so much to me. I know there are a lot of women out there who might fear starting a family and becoming a Mom because of what it could do to their business… you are not alone friend.

When I feel out of alignment, I think more with my head than with my heart. I do things from a place of force and not flow. I plan and think so much about the possibilities, and focus too little on the action of making it happen.
Can you relate to this?
Feeling like you are putting in all of the effort and struggling to get something in return and then beating yourself up for the struggle?
I’m raising my hand and waving it with you too, sister!
For years, my mornings were a complete mess.
I had this goal of getting to journal and read every morning, but I had every excuse in the book to not make this happen (plus a whole lotta bad habits backing up my excuses).
I used to wake up about 20 minutes before I needed to be out the door, on the road, and ready for work.
Back when I worked in a more corporate setting, I often showed up late… ugh. I was always frazzled, always frustrated, and my commute was so beyond irritating it wasn’t even funny.
I always wanted some kind of morning routine, but I just didn’t have the time — like ever.
So when I finally quit and started working for myself, I thought, THIS! This is the answer! Once I work from home I’ll be able to journal and read in the mornings, because I’ll finally have the time.
I have so many different stories to share with you about what Brave Fear is and what it has meant for me. Some of them I’m ready to share and some I’m still healing from. All of my stories though have an ounce of the miraculous in them, but there’s a few good reasons for that...and you can have these same kind of stories as well, it’s easier than you think.
So what the heck am I even talking about?
Well, I want to start by telling you a story…
