When an amazing couple approached me about their plans and vision to create a company dedicated to helping Seniors transition to new housing, I was ecstatic to help. What an incredible new business venture!
Transitioning to Senior housing can be a stressful experience. Whether you're looking to help a loved one, a spouse or yourself, it's not always an easy transition. But that's where Oregon Senior Living Advisors comes in. They want to help take the stress off and guide people through this process.
Zac, co-owner of Oregon Senior Living Advisors, has been working in the Senior Living industry for a quite a long time now, and he's discovered a consistent need for trusted advisors to come alongside families looking into Senior Living options. If you ever get a chance to listen to him talk about this topic, you will see his passion to help, his extensive knowledge and his heart for others.
My favorite part of building and creating their brand, was the focus on family and being at home.
A main focus they had, was to create a tagline that would set their business apart and provide a clear understanding of their business model. Together we came up with an incredible tagline:
"To us, you are family."
They truly are giving people. who honestly will take you under their wing and treat you like you're family.
I love this. I love them. and I love this business.
So allow me to introduce you to our brand design process! We had a lot jam packed into this branding and I can't wait for you to see this classic, professional and comfortable design.
As always, we started with the Inspiration / Mood board. From here we drew out a color scheme and basic theme for their brand.
For this brand design, we went through a few extra revisions to get the main logo just right. I always think it's fun to see the evolution of design, so I wanted to include the 2 concept revisions I created. From phase 2, we narrowed it down to our favorite elements and combined those into the final logo design. See below.

My favorite part of any brand design, is pulling all the pieces together. I love it when you can see all of your brand items on one page.
My second favorite part is taking all of the branding photos. The look, tone and feel of each photo mimics the branding for this business (to learn more about this and download a free branding worksheet, click here). Every image is intentional and directly relates back to the core elements of this brand. Family, comfort, professional and classic.
There's something to be said about that feeling of holding your business cards for the first time. It's incredibly exciting to see your brand design in print! It means you're finally ready and open for business!
And last, but certainly not least, the pièce de résistance. The website! For many businesses your website is your store front, so getting really clear on your branding is key here. Besides presenting the core brand values, we also took into consideration who's visiting this site. Since this business helps Seniors, the audience looking at this website could range from Mid-30's to 80+, and that's a big gap in age. So our goal was to make this website easy to navigate, easy to read, clean and professional and easy to get in touch with a human being. Personal connection and communication is key to this business.
