Reid Martin is the man behind Sustainable Healthy Homes in Portland, Oregon. He's a Real Estate agent with a serious passion to help homeowners learn about sustainability and how to make their homes more energy efficient, and frankly - save that money!!
I love this concept and in Portland, Oregon this is a huge issue for many people. Often times we don't know where to start, but Reid's been in the business a really long time, he knows the ins and outs of sustainable healthy home living. PLUS, Reid actually built his own Sustainable Healthy Home. Scroll down to images - this house is seriously fantastic.
Here's how we developed his Brand Design...
I always start with the mood board. What feelings, emotions and impressions do we want to make with your brand? AND what will our color scheme be? This all happens during the inspiration/mood board process.
THE LOGO CONCEPTS:
Reid is all about bringing the outdoors in and wanted a brand design that encompassed nature with a modern look.
Reid chose option #3 and we started cultivating it to properly suit his vision. This design was based off of the wind turbines and we narrowed it down even further to become a modern representation of what sustainable healthy home living is all about - both manmade and nature combining into one harmonious energy source.
FINAL LOGO DESIGN:
BRAND DISPLAY BOARD:
Bringing all the design elements together in one cohesive display board.
Our next step, was to take Reid's Branding photos. This involved stock photography of his own Sustainable Healthy Home (that he personally built) and his branding photos to show off his personality.
Reid wanted to make sure he had a brochure that he could easily hand people that would include information on Sustainable Healthy Home living. He also believes in the client experience being great, and that their opinion counts beyond measure. So he wanted me to create some client experience cards for him to hand his clients for their review.
